Using Topical Medicine

Medicine type directly is smeared in the organ that needs it. There are four kind of topical medicine.

Skin Medicine
Medicine for skin can be formed in cream, ointment, liquid or transdermal glued. There are two rules on using this medicine:
  • Using as the guideline to avoid excess absorption into the blood that can cause systemic side effect. Some of skin medicine should thin smear above the skin, but other kind of medicine must be used with message.
  • Wash your hands after smear the medicine to avoid any reaction with fingers skin or can contact with eyes or mouth.

  • Level the medicine except if forbidden to level.

Using Transdermal Glue

This kind of medicine should be glued on the skin. Medicine inside adhesive slowly enter to the skin. There are four regulation on using this medicine:

  1. Choose the part of organ with no body hair, no wound, just recover or inflamed.
  2. Clean organ with water.
  3. Clean a glued medicine on that organ and change with new one but in other place.
  4. Don't cut the adhesive to adjust the dosage.

When the medicine should be throwing away?
Medicine with doctor certificate must be throwing away after the dieses have recovered. The medicine remaining is may not be kept to be used in other time or used for other persons. Every medicine can have any other effect for different person except antibiotic medicine must drink until finished even the diseases have recovered.
Medicines without doctor certificate easily gets in the market and sometime intentionally keep for our stock, but should be remembered that those medicine have an expired date. The medicine also can change on stored. The medicine must be throwing away when:
1. Have expired as on the label
2. No expired date label and have kept for long time i.e. one year.
3. The color/form/turbidity has changed.
4. The label has loose or not clear.
Medicine can use in many ways. For getting the maximum benefit you must understand how the right uses of such medicine. To avoid the wrong use of the medicine, read the guideline on using the medicine.

The medicine have many kind form, there are tree kind of medicine usually used, tablet, pill, capsule and liquid. If the form of the medicine like tablet is too big to swallow you can ask for other kind of medicine such as syrup form, because every medicine can be formed in a certain form.

When stop drink medicine?

Medicine with doctor certificate.

All hard medicine use a special sign in a red circle with a black circle border this meant that to drink this medicine must use doctor certificate. If your doctor or pharmacist didn't tell you yet, ask according to the medicine such as:

1. How long the medicine must be drunk?

2. If there is any side effect, can we stop to drink?

3. If you feel better, can you stop to drink that medicine?

4. What will you do if the medicines have finished to drink?

5. What need to do if you forget to drink the medicine?

Those questions are very important to ask, because every medicine can have different answer. For example of pain subside medicine can be stopped if the pain have lost, but antibiotic medicine must be finished even you feel good after 2 days. If merge side effect when drink a medicine, you must stop to drink and consult with your doctor.

The example of this medicine are medicine that contains a paracetamol used for stopped the painful and cold down. If after two days the cold keep unchanged or not down, as soon as consult to the doctor or other health service.

Medicine is very strong chemical substance. Beside the benefit to human, medicine can make accident. So if you know about medicine and how to use correctly and safe you will have benefit from them. Actually many diseases can take care in home and use trade-free medicine.

There a several medicine than is forbidden for women on pregnant, and other kind of medicine is forbidden to drink together with other kind of medicine, because that medicine may have neutralize effect each other, or make stronger that any bad effect to our body.

Every medicine have different guidelines on how to drink. Example of the guidelines:

1. Drink every 6 hours or 8 hours this mean that medicine must be drink every 6 hours or 8 hours.

2. Tree times a day, this more flexible it's mean that you can drink in the morning, evening and night.

3. Drink after eat. This means that the medicine can drink while eating or as soon as after eaten.

4. Drink before eat, its mean that medicine can drink two hours after eat or one hour before eat.

5. Drink medicine when stomach empty, this means same with drink before eat.

How to Keep Medicine

Keep medicine in the right way make the medicine is not changed, because the changing of medicine can make the medicine useless to body or can danger to your body.

1. Keep medicine separate from food.

2. Keep medicine in origin bottle to avoid chemical changes, every medicine need different place in plastic bottle or glass bottle.

3. Avoid from sun, heat and humid (far from lamp, direct sun, kitchen or bath room)

4. Don't keep in refrigerator, except as the guidelines.

5. Don't keep many medicine in one place (bottle).

6. Keep medicine for drink separate with skin medicine (not for drink).

7. Keep medicine far away from children's reach.

Take Care Eyes for Children on School

After child beginning read and write alone, parent need adapt to the house environment with the children need for prevent eyes tired.

Adapt to house environment
  • Choose table and chair so the eyes have distance 30-40 cm from the table. For children on fast growing, use chair that can adjustable the high or use cushion.
  • If possible use chair with hands supporting for reading. This will make child always on up right position to read, not with laying on bed or on the floor.
  • Us a bright lamp and lay in the right position. For example for left-handed child the lamp lie on the right shoulder side, show no shadow when write.

Eyes Check Up

  • If child use spectacles, check in the doctor every 2 years.

Practice Eye movement everyday

  • Move up, right, down and left the eye ball slowly five times a day. Repeat with other direction movement. This practice for driven eyes muscle and keep the eye form.
  • Make sight focus to near distance and far in turn. This movement to practice ligament and the apparatus on sight focus.
  • Using finger tip, fine message the fore head on the eye brow and around the eyes. Even difficult to get real proven, this practice given to the Chinese school to avoid nearsighted.
  • Cross-Eyed on Children
    Belief: Every baby has a cross-eyed.
    Reality: Wrong, baby’s eye movement is unable to coordinate in the beginning. But baby can arrange the eye ball movement after 3 months.

Eyes Treatment For Children

Teach your children how to care eyes very early with water and soap. Give a same advice repeatedly for a good habit.

Teach the Children for:
  • Not to touch eyes before washing hands with water and soap.
  • Not rub eyes when any strange thing in to the eyes, because that thing will enter deeply to the eyes tissue.
  • Not to run with hold a sharp thing, to avoid any accident.
  • Never swing a sharp thing in front of somebody else face even only tempt.
  • If give a knife or scissor to someone else, give the handle side not a sharp side.
Always diet in balance include yellow fruits and vegetable (banana, papaya, mango, carrot) that need for prevent twilight/night blind.

Build a good habit on watching Television
  • Sit in front of the television with minimum space five times the television diagonal. Example the 20 inches in diameter, the minimum distance is 20 inches x 5 = 2.5 meter.
  • If the room is dark, put on the lamp when watching a television.
  • Limit the time to watch every day about 30 – 60 minutes.
  • Make the eyes rest often (by close the eyes or see to another far thing).
Make a right habit on reading.
  • Read always in a sit position
  • Read with a bright room from back or side direction, not from front direction.
  • Hold a book about 30 to 40 cm in front of eyes, little below the eyes position.
  • Rest the eyes occasionally.

For old people always intent to a different sign or eyes disturbance. For example child always blink the eyes or always sit closer to the TV, consult to the doctor.

Here is the guideline:

·         Keep the face towel clean because the eyes are very sensitive get infection. The tower for face should be different from towel for mouth after eating.

·         Wipe the baby eyes softly to the eye corner one or twice a day (etc. when take a bath).

·         Take care, the baby's nails always short and use hand glove for baby to avoid rub the eyes.

·         Avoid hold something close to baby's eyes, minimum 30 cm.

·         Check if the baby's eyes put out liquid. As soon as consult to pediatrician if happened.

·         Check if there is a cross-eyed, that is the eyes see two directions in the same time. If any up normal condition as soon as consult to the doctor. A cross-eyed can repair or medicine if early known.

·         Protect the baby's eyes from sun directly, either inside or outside of home. Check the baby's bed for sleep if directly exist of sun. Use a hat or head cover when go to outside.

1. Check:

· Airway:

Make sure that airway is not blocked with the tongue, mucus or other strange thing.

· Breathing:

Check the breathing, if needed make and artificial breath.

2. Do Fast! Every second is means.

3. Don't lift or move victim that have serious injured on the neck or back bone except being forced.

5. Don't pull victim clothes with burning injured.

6. Keep calmly and make the victim calm down.

7. Don't give a drink to unconsciousness victim or the consciousness down.

· Ledger and stage room

Make Your House Safe
· Install a bright lamp in the dark corner, and the stage. Install button in side of bed make easier if wake up in the night.
· Don't use a slipper floor, avoid small carpet and loose.
· Use simple furniture, set the room so there are a wide way to bath room, kitchen, doors and windows. Choose sofa with smooth or round corner.
· Stop for a while when go from bright to dark room, this will give a chance to eyes adaptation.

· Use shower and avoid use basin or use plastic chair for take a bath.
· Buy a mug with a strong handle. Avoid to boil a drink or soup. As soon as possible to dry a spilled water.
· Use sandal or shoes that is not slippery, if necessary use a stick to walk.
· Don't smoke especially on the bed room.
· Be a friend with your neighborhoods, and make a signal alarm if that is any critical situation.

Regular Sport

  • Always consult to doctor before begin sport. Intent to the diseases sign of chest, sort breath, joint sick or muscle cramp.
  • Sport better before eat or 2 hours after eaten. Drink enough while sport or after sport instead of sweat out.
  • Spent five minutes for warming up and cooling down.
  • Remember that your sport target are 3-5 times in a week for 15-60 minutes each practice until sweat. For the beginner start step by step, from short time and the next time more longer until the target is reached.
  • Choose a sport that you can enjoy it and invite your friend together.

Strive For Health Soul

  • Keep good relationship with the family. Spent the time for your grand son. Respect to your children adult and independent, give them advice only if ask from them. If you must stay with one of your children, choose the most suitable.

  • Always communicates with your friend. Telephone and visit them. Be friend with your neighbors and civil in your environment.

  • Use the time as good as possible.

  • Try to enjoy your new hobby like play chess, drawing, or play music.
  • Do something for others, cooks for family and help to watch your grand son when their parent on work. Helping social organization, and try to work together when the social activity do.

  • Balance diet including eat carbohydrate, meat and fish (protein), fruits and vegetable.
  • Doe to the daily activity have down, so eat with a small portion and lessen sugar. This will prevent obesity and protect teeth.
  • Lessen salt and sauce because salt will pile water. This can cause hypertension for old people. Better using spices than ketchup, tomato sauce and chili. Avoid canning food and salty food. Eat fresh meat and vegetables.
  • Less eat fatty food to prevent the hearth diseases risk.
    Though away rest of skin and fat from meat before cook.
    Cook with steaming, boiled, and burnt, don't fry with oil.
    Use margarine not butter and avoid sweet cake.
    Don't eat eggs more than 3 pcs per week.

Lessen eat innards like heart, intestines and shrimp.

The calcium source is contained on milk (skim milk), yogurt and cheese, tinny sea fish, sardine, tofu and soybean milk, green vegetable.

·         Change the wobbly tooth. Artificial tooth that right set up help you for right chewing.

Aging Process

Aging process is beginning from when we born. This natural process is going on, the influence that caused this process is different for everyone. The aging process is may going on in the different age and different way. A part of people are more active on 50 years old, even every part of our body also different. Hair may have whiten and the face skin also have wrinkled but still able sport for one hour every morning. The changing start on 40, smooth wrinkle, hair become thin, white hair and joint become stiff, some people have farsighted.

 

On 50s, skin begin loose the elasticity and emerging brown spot, muscle strength down, and the bone become thin. For women are starting menopause and no menstruation anymore. For men still able have child but need longer time erection.

 

On 70s, the senses become changed, sense of sight lessens, sense of hearing also lessens, and senses of taste lessen. On 80s, urine womb become difficult to control and remembering power of last act become worst. But the intelligence is not down with the adding age, if there are any lessen maybe because of some diseases, even the ability to solve the problem is increased.

 

The below is the tips for anticipate the changes and advice for keep active on your golden age.

To control the changes for;

 

Skin:

·         Use moisturizer like lanolin after take a bath for pretend of skin dried and lessen the wrinkled.

·         Avoid to go out on the hot day or use an umbrella or using sun resist liquid.

·         Use hands glove when washing cloth and don't use strong detergent.

 

Hair:

·         Use light shampoo every 3-4 days.

·         Wash your hair with cold water or warm water, warm water will alleviate of hair root.

·         Use hair color if the color changes are disturbed.

 

Eyes:

·         Check the eyes if the sight sense is lessen may need new glasses.

·         Keep your lamp is bright enough.

 

Sense of Hearing:

·         For old people still enjoyed of sex but for men need longer time for erection.

Muscle and Heart:

Rise Up the Activity

We usually think that no time for sports. Actually there are many way that can help us to rise up the activity and burnt our calorie before accumulate become a fat:

a.       Try always to walk in any activity. Don't use the telephone to talk to a friend in room side, but walk to go to their room.

b.       Walk in fast and swing your arm. This will be seen that you look more active.

c.       Better use stairs than lift.

d.       Make your job more attractive by hearing music. You will finish the job faster and happy.

e.       After work, play with children in the garden. This will help you more active and build good relationship with your family.

f.         In a day that you feel very tired, try to take a walk in the night. You will feel fresh after that.

 

Starting Sport

Sport in regular time will not just make your weight down but will make you feel fresh and lessen the stress. Try to spend your time in your busy day for sport as your challenge, after you got the benefit, you will amaze how you can live without sport.

 

Attention: If you are more than 35 years old, very fat or have some dieses, you must consult with a doctor before you starting sport program.

 

Choose kind of sport that you like, especially sport together your friends or your family. The best choose is aerobic, sport that continue moving will make your heart and lungs strong. Examples:

What can be eaten?

  • Eat variation food, this make many alternative health food so we will not boring.
  • Eat food that contains much fiber like fruits, bread, rice, vegetable, bean, seeds, and cereal. These foods contains low calorie but make satisfied fast.
  • Kind of flour food like rice, wheat, noodle and potatoes in a medium quantity will not make fat if not mix with butter or fried oil.
  • Chicken, fish and tofu are protein source with lower fat contains than meat.
  • Choose food that is cooked with steam, baked, boiled, set on fire or fry with a little oil. Avoid food that cooked with fried long.
  • To lessen food that much contain of sugar like chocolate, sweet meal, crackers, and soda drink.
  • Chose can food that is submerged in water not in syrup.

How to eat your food?

  • Mix milled rice with rice that is not milled one or two in a week, or eat only bread every two days.
  • Better eat boiled noodle than fried noodle, better eat white rice that fried rice.
  • Through away the fat contain under the skin of chicken and meat before cocked.
  • Use tofu or bean instead of meat twice a week.
  • Dish up a fresh vegetable with sauce (so the vitamin is not omitted). Only use sauce that is not containing oil.
  • Make a liquid soup not a concentrate soup.
  • For cook, use soybean oil, maize oil or sun flower oil and just oily to the frying pan not dropped.
  • By your household for cook that is not burnt easily
  • Lessen to drink contain alcohol. Fruit concentrate without sugar or only water is better.
  • Chewing your food slowly, and enjoy every feed, this will give a chance for your stomach fill well and avoid to eat too much.

When and Where is a good eating?

  • Eat regularly and don't less the frequency, because you can feel very hungry and will eat too much later.
  • Avoid eat snack because of habits. Eat only cause of hungry not cause of boring, frustrate or just for polite.
